Poor revenue, high debts haunt govt in 2013/14 fiscal year
This financial year has been tough for the government. It was difficult to implement last year’s budget, largely due to failure to raise funds on time. Matters have been made worse by less than satisfactory expenditure management in the wake of poor revenue collection and missed tax targets.
