Sh14bn in unpaid bills bogs down Z’bar power agency
>The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar through its institutions, including the State House, owes the Zanzibar Electricity Corporation (Zeco) around Sh13.6 billion in unpaid bills. This was revealed after the Controller and Auditor General (CAG) of Zanzibar tabled the 2012/13 report before the House of Representatives and the minister for State House and Good Governance Dr Mwinyihaji Makame Mwadini.
