There is no doubt that the once-conjoined Mbeya twins, Eliud and Elikana, are faced with certain death following recent complications which led to deterioration of their health.

Eliud is in his mother’s arms suckling, enjoying the freedom of being held in her arms, all alone. He turns when he hears his twin-brother Elikana baby-talking. Elikana who is sitting on the bed talks louder when his brother turns.

The very fact that one-time conjoined twins Eliud and Elikana are alive and well is a miracle. But life is rarely straightforward and simple and the misery has been quietly piling on again.
