Sumatra criticised over tariffs

>Tanzanians will have to wait longer for the start of the deluxe train services as a tariff application proposal is yet to be accepted, the Tanzania Railway Limited (TRL) has said.

The energy regulator has assured Tanzanians that the price of electricity will from June this year decline after the natural gas project is completed.

Consumers will have to wait a bit longer than expected until the system of generating power from natural gas stabilises before electricity tariffs are lowered.

Water supply continues to be problematic in Tanzania, much as the country boasts numerous water sources.
