Swala IPO kicks off today

There was optimism among the management of Swala Oil and Gas (Tanzania) PLC and stock market brokers that the company might perform well in its initial public offering (IPO) following a positive reaction reported on the first day.

Swala Oil and Gas Tanzania, a subsidiary of Australia-listed Swala Energy, is seeking to raise Sh4.8 billion in the coming Initial Public Offering (IPO) as the regulator approved the company’s prospectus.
