Talks between Libya rivals suspended

Representatives from rival factions in Libya's new parliament have held UN-brokered talks for the first time in the oasis town of Ghadames.

Talks between South Sudan's government and rebels are due to start later on Tuesday in attempt to agree to a ceasefire, mediators say.

Rival Libyan groups participating in UN-led peace talks in Tunis announce they will sign a proposed political agreement next week.
