Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Mheshimiwa Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete amemteua Ndugu Joel Laurent kuwa Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Taasisi ya Elimu Tanzania (TEA).  Uteuzi huo ulianza Oktoba 18, mwaka huu, 2015.

Kabla ya uteuzi wake, Ndugu Laurent alikuwa Katibu wa Taasisi hiyo ya TEA na ndiye amekuwa anakaimu nafasi ya Mkurugenzi Mkuu.
