Kauli hiyo ilitolewa mwishoni mwa wiki na Mganga Mkuu wa Hospital ya Mkoa wa Arusha, Dk. Frida Mokiti,  alipokuwa akizungumza katika kikao cha Kamati ya Maafa  ya Mkoa, ambapo alisema hospitali hiyo inahitaji uniti 1560 za damu salama, waka  akiba ya damu salama iliyopo ni uniti 40 .
