TZ agriculture sector receives Sh240m boost

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation pledges $5.7m to launch a programme that uses plasma from Ebola survivors to try to treat the illness.

Agriculture accounts for about 28 per cent of the GDP and about 70 per cent of Tanzanians earn their daily living through the sector.
