Independent research firm, Repoa, yesterday revealed study results which show that millions of shillings sent to constituencies are returned to the government.

The government is calling on the private sector to help fund research and development (R&D) programmes, as finance continues to drop. The government has struggled to allocate one per cent of the Gross Domestic Product to R&D, according to Prof Makame Mbarawa.
