Ukawa demands manual tallying of presidential votes

The National Electoral Commission (NEC) will deploy new technology to receive, tally and announce the presidential vote results in real time, The Citizen can report today.

As voting takes place in Nigeria there are reports that gunmen have killed up to 25 people and set fire to homes in the northeast of the country, according to the governor of Borno state.
