>For the past two days, there has been an artificial fuel shortage caused by some greedy oil traders, who moved to hoard the key commodity in expectation of making super profit effective today when the government’s fiscal calendar starts. Despite being warned earlier by the regulator, the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (Ewura), some oil traders went on to withhold fuel, disrupting Tanzania’s economy.
