Why false promise will return to haunt parties
The first ten days of campaigns have already witnessed some aspiring leaders and their team members giving Tanzanians promises which are obvious untruths. Untruths in the sense that much of what they are pledging is unrealistic and unattainable.

All the allegations levelled against Tancoal are false
It is unfortunate that Lucy Rodriguez did not attempt to contact Tancoal to discuss the Tancoal Ngaka coal mining project prior to her article being published in The Citizen on 22 March 2014. Had she done so, I would have been able to correct the numerous factual errors and erroneous assumptions she made before committing them to print.
