Zanzibar opposition in fresh bid to get Pinda sacked

Uganda’s opposition coalition said Thursday it had failed to agree a joint presidential candidate to challenge veteran leader Yoweri Museveni.

It is now official that Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda is in the race for the presidency come 2015 General Election. He is the first sitting PM to contest for the position, since the coming of competitive politics.
