Mwamvuli wa waangalizi wa uchaguzi wa ndani (Cemot) umesema uchaguzi wa leo umeweka historia katika harakati za ushiriki wa wanawake katika siasa, ikilinganishwa na chaguzi zote zilizopita tangu uhuru.

Wakati zoezi la kuhesabu na kutangaza matokeo ya Uchaguzi likiwa mwishoni, mwamvuli wa waangalizi wa ndani (Cemot) umesema kuwa sehemu kubwa ya wagombea wa ubunge na udiwani walioshindwa walikubaliana na matokeo ya kura walizopata.

Mwenyekiti mwenza wa Muungano wa Waangalizi wa Ndani wa Uchaguzi (Cemot), Dk Benson Bana ameshauri kuwapo kwa maridhiano baina ya wanasiasa baada ya Uchaguzi Mkuu ili kuondoa tofauti zilizojitokeza wakati wa kampeni.

Mwamvuli wa waangalizi wa ndani wa Uchaguzi (Cemot) umesema kuwa sehemu kubwa ya vituo vya kupigia kura vilijitahidi kuwahi kuanza kuhesabu kura mara tu baada ya muda wa upigaji kura kukamilika.
