Maelfu ya raia wa Burundi wamefurika katika uwanja huo kushuhudia kuapishwa kwa rais huyo kufuatia kifo cha aliyekuwa rais wa taifa hilo Pierre Nkurunziza.

Jenerali Ndayishimiye, ni mwandani wa karibu wa rais Pierre Nkurunziza, amekuwa katibu mkuu wa CNDD-FDD tangu mwaka wa 2016.

Rais mpya wa Burundi Jenerali Evariste Ndayishimiye anachukua rasmi mamlaka ya urais nchini Burundi leo baada ya kutangazwa mshindi wa uchaguzi urais mwezi huu. Lakini je ni changamoto zipi atakazokabiliana nazo kama kiongozi mpya?.
