Cricketers shine in Malaysia

>It was all smiles for the national cricket team after winning two opening matches at the ICC-Africa T20 Senior Women’s Trophy in South Africa. The Tanzanian girls, who left for South Africa on Thursday, silenced Kenya in their first match before beating Uganda in Benoni on Saturday.

The national cricket team departs for Malaysia today ahead of a tough mission at the ICC World League Division 5 scheduled to start on March 6.

Tanzania’s senior cricket team succumbed to a four-wicket loss to Uganda in the second match of the Africa Cricket Association (ACA) Cup at the Sahara Park Willowmoore ground in Johannesburg, South Africa on Tuesday.
