Mashali vows to knock out Pazi in New Year eve bout

A prominent middleweight boxer, Thomas Mashali, has vowed to floor Kenyan Henry Wandera in a non-title fight, which will take place at the Friends Corner Hotel on Saturday night.

Prominent professional boxer in the country, Thomas Mashali, managed to conclude the year 2015 with a bang after outpointing Francis Cheka in the non-title middleweight bout held at Morogoro’s Jamhuri Stadium on Friday.

Tanzania’s professional boxing scene, once again, has had an opportunity to wallow in the limelight as renowned super middleweight boxers, Japhet Kaseba and Thomas Mashali, are expected to clash in a Universal Boxing Organisation (UBO)-sanctioned International Light Heavyweight title bout in the division on March 29.
