SALIM: Chopping the country small

There is a notion that a person who is reluctant to lead makes a good leader. I came to remember this notion after reading about Dr Salim Ahmed Salim’s remarks that he no longer holds plans to run for the presidency after his 2005 bid failed.

Nearly a decade back I read an article in the Gulf newspaper in which one columnist said that there are some occupations whose members are very good in lying, even in mosques and churches.
