Team wants Shein to run for second term

Rwanda's President Paul Kagame confirms he will seek re-election for a third term in 2017 after constitutional changes that could allow him to stay in power until 2034.

The presidential term under the new Constitution should be extended to seven years instead of the current five years, some members of the Constituent Assembly (CA) have proposed.
